President Noynoy Aquino’s REAL boss is NOT the Filipino people

Not too long ago, almost as soon as he assumed office in July of 2010 following his “landslide” election, Philippine President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, made a bold assertion directed to the public: “Kayo ang boss ko” (“You all are my boss”). Drawing upon the tired notion that it is “the people” who provide him the democratic mandate to rule, Noynoy would like us to believe that it is the Filipino people who is his real “boss”.

Fast forward to today and Malacañang’s stormy relationship with the Philippine Supreme Court (SC) and its Chief Justice Renato Corona which unfolded like a bad Filipino telenovela from the time Noynoy refused to recognise Corona as Chief of the SC to the time his top Justice lieutenant Leila De Lima baldly defied a temporary restraining order (TRO) issued by the SC on a travel-ban slapped by Malacañang on Arroyo becomes a backdrop to an even more interesting plot.

We now find out from an “exclusive” report by Charlie V. Manalo and Virgilio J Bugaoisan in The Daily Tribune article Noynoy out to reclaim Luisita through CJ’s impeach who Noynoy’s real bosses are — the “elders” of the Cojuangco feudal clan — and the true implications to them of Noynoy’s epic failure to manage Malacañang’s relationship with the Philippine High Court…

The Tribune source said that the plot to oust Corona was hatched at the Bahay Matanda, the ancestral house of the Cojuangcos after elderly members of the Cojuangco clan reportedy [sic] berated President Aquino for attacking members of the High Court which they believe was the reason the SC justices revoked the stock distribution option and ordered the distribution of the [Hacienda Luisita] sugar estate to its tenants.

“From the time of (President Ramon) Magsasay, the hacienda land was never lost. When Martial Law came, we still did not lose our land. GMA (Gloria Arroyo) and Cory had a fight during GMA’s presidency, we Cojuangcos still did not lose our land. Now that that you (Noynoy) are president, we lose the hacienda!”, the Tribune source quoted an elderly Cojuangco as he berated Aquino in the vernacular.

“You are the reason for our loss of the hacienda, because even the Supreme Court you had to fight with!,” the elderly Cojuangco was further quoted as telling the President.

[Refer to my article Aquino-Cojuangco feudal clan: Too wealthy to fail?! for a background on the financial position of the Cojuangcos’ Hacienda Luisita estate.]

Not only has Noynoy seemingly compromised the interests of his vastly landed real bosses, he may also have rendered himself virtually unfit to be President having severely handicapped his ability to govern the Republic objectively. It is likely that Hacienda Luisita alone is a big enough elephantine agenda that it could take up what meagre cognitive bandwidth Noynoy’s mind is capable of mustering for his presidential tasks.

In my previous article, Is saving Hacienda Luisita from Agrarian Reform Noynoy Aquino’s real SINGULAR mission as President?, I added the tongue-in-cheek caption “Will Noynoy get a spanking from his uncle if he fails to save the family jewels?” underneath a photo of presidential uncle Jose “Peping” Sumulong Cojuangco, Jr.

Turns out that cheeky quip of mine wasn’t too far off the mark after all.

Could it be that Noynoy lied to the Filipino people when he told them that they were his boss? That all depends on how credible this Tribune “source” is. But then some people have been accused and even impeached on the basis of even shakier grounds.

As always;

Abangan ang susunod na kabanata…

Don’t look now, but it seems somebody may not be laughing all the way to the bank after all…

  1. The Tribune needn’t provide a “source” giving out information from “the inside” to convince us (at least readers of GRP and AP, except the beloved Mr. Vincenzo Arellano) that retaining ownership of the HLI distribution is the main objective of Pnoy right now.

But I’m just curious, when the SC ruled that the land be distributed to the farmers, shouldn’t there already be something taking place right now to facilitate this distribution? I haven’t seen anything in the news lately, unless of course the big new networks decided that they will stay mum on this one.

    1. That’s easy. The Executive can refuse to execute this court ruling just like it refused to comply with the TRO on hold orders.

  2. A lot of vincenzo arellanos (Yellow idiots) would definitely try to defend their beloved dictator even after reading this article.

  3. my understnding as non lawyer.
following the ruling, HLI by law had x number of days to file an appeal/ motion for reconsideration.
they are going to do that and requested at the beginning of this week more time to do so.
i do not know the new timetable but until that MR is heard and agreed/dismissed then the nov 22 ruling is not final and executory
the bottom line. HLI trying to buy as much time as possible.
malacanan trying to pressure corona into resignation. a 6 month impeachment is no good to aquino/hli
the big issue for HLI is the audit of their books.
this would be like opening pandoras box into the cojuangco secrets and scams
more intrigue and jockeying to come with other casualties if they do not reverse the sc ruling.
i hope corona stays the course. the dirty tricks brigade now focussing on his wife for added pressure.
the future of the cojuangcos-aquinis at stake so anything is possible. remember ninoy.

  4. Pnoy’s government is turning into a mockery of the philippine government. I hope that corona won’t be swayed by the obviously evil ways to pressure him.

  5. Indeed, if a Corona free Supreme Court does turn out and pegs the the value of the land at PhP2.5 million per hectare, or worse it completely overturns its decision, I wonder if public opinion does turn against the President. GMA´s corruption never directly affected me to be honest, neither have the injustices to the farmers of Hacienda Luisita. If the President continue to enjoy this “popularity” I guess it`s ok to let the President rape the farmers of the hacienda as long as GMA is jailed. This, above all bothers me. Do we as a society do not care of these injustices?

    1. what Abnoy did is classic… COVERING UP FOR INCOMPETENCE for mishandling the economic side of executive governance. normal behaviour of an abnormal to mislead other abnormals to think that they are normal or above normal. hehehe… kaya nga ABNOY.

    2. And this is the real challenge. By bringing the “laban” to the political arena where mobs rule, and out of the judicial arena where brains and procedure rule, Noynoy hopes to bring to bear the vacuous loyalty of the ignorant masses and more effectively wield the power of the media over them.

  6. We all now know that it was all about Hacienda Luisita. Mr. Aquino is just protecting his family’s vested interests. His transformation to dictator is timely. This leaves no doubt as to who the real boss is.

I am worried more about his political alliances. He is known to have associations with left of center socialist and mainstream groups. His leftist allies in the Lower House acted to do his bidding.

This leads me to the question. Is he willing to share his new found and expanding power in a coalition? Power sharing with these left of center groups could lead to greater problems in the near future. It could also mean an expanded power base for the leftists in a new dictatorial set-up.

    1. Mr. Aquino’s association with left of center personalities opens up new possibilities to his vested interests. This could lead to influencing the HLI peasants to make a softer stand on the issue. This gives his family all the advantages. It could also lead to a reactionary response from the mainstream left supporting the peasants leading to a split of conflicting interests.

  7. I think it’s obvious that “Kayo ang Boss ko” was directed at a small, very specific audience. I had that feeling when I first heard it.

    1. i’ve been watching the syfy TV series SANCTUARY. show is about ABNORMALS. kaya siguro nag ta tantrums na naman si Penoy kasi sa TV series they are persecuting the ABNORMALS. time to retaliate!!!

  8. Indeed, I have been toying with the idea that what could explain this newfound vigor and speed in exerting tangible political power is because the autopilot on the avatar known as Peenoy has been switched off and the powers that be, the real experts on power play, have taken manual control.

  9. Unless Jinggoy Estrada’s exposé would pre-empt it, a plot by the Aquino camp to also take over the Legislative branch by replacing Senate Pres Enrile would ensure that the Aquino-Cojuangco clan would have total control over all gov’t in all its 3 branches and continue to enjoy its hold on Hacienda Luisita.

Many yellow supporters have already sold their souls to the devil. Not only do they welcome this tyrannical abuse of power, but are in fact pushing hard to make this happen.

    1. Well, perhaps Pinoys ultimately are headed towards that fate, their little 25-year experiment with democracy and taste of “freedom” coming to a close. After all, they had all that and didn’t do much with it. So it can be argued that perhaps Pinoys do deserve to be ruled with whips and kicks in their asses by the oligarchs they pretend to despise.

  10. First Noynoy Aquino was not elected, by mandate…second, I even question his election; because of the Beauty of the SMARTMATIC Machine…Election Cheaters have now gone Digital…they had also advanced with the technology.
Hacienda Luisita is a symbol of the Greed of a family. It was the cause of the Huk Rebellion; the reason why the Aquinos and the Cojuangcos went into Politics. The Philippine government was swindled by this family. Now they want to keep swindling us. They try to grab power, to become another Kadhafy family…Arroyo and Corona , are just covers, to execute their attempt to reverse the Hacienda Luisita ruling…this land caused many tears, sweat and sorrow of tenants/serfs of this Greedy Cojuangco and Aquino families…these families are very disgusting people…opportunists of the worst kind…

  11. Can anyone tell me how much HLI stocks are trading at, because i checked PSE and the stocks are not listed there. If these stocks are not listed in any stockexchange then the HLI stocks are completely worthless because there is no market to liquidate these assets in. Not to mention the valuation of the company is probably worthless because of its insolvent nature.

    1. not a public company
quite the opposite – very private and secretive
hence the panic by cojuangcos at the sc ruling to audit.
it would seem money goes into hli – especially from the sale of land – eg for the shopping mall etc and is quickly passed on to a 100% owned cojuangco corporation – no doubt in tax haven.
so hli is kept worthless and in debt on purpose by cojuangco. hence shares as cojuangco are offering to farmers are worthless.
the farmers have always been stitched up.

        1. basically yes, which is why the cojuangcos are pushing so hard for the farmers to have the sdo and not the land.
          the figures are self-evident
          david vs goliath
cojuangcos were shocked at the sc ruling and now it is war. winner keeps all.
their power influence and fortune is at stake – quite literally and if they can massacre farmers then nothing is beyond their limits of evil in pursuit of greed.

  12. Maybe it is time for the sane and sober lawmakers of this country to act. I would like to see the creation of an “Anti-Dictatorship” bill passed into law. The bill should contain all the essential elements of the crime, including all the techniques that lead to it. This should be classed as a heinous political crime. Perhaps the death penalty and/or life imprisonment should be enough to deter those who would like to be the boss or bosses of the Sovereign Filipino People.

I see a pattern. The dictator Mr. Aquino now resorts to deceit and more lies in promoting his ongoing demonic master plan leading to the destruction of our freedom and democracy. It is now SOP to lie. Lying is not only expedient as it is now an instrument of public policy. We only have to thank Mr. Aquino for this and other evil examples. Mr. Aquino is truly a dangerous man.

    1. How ironic it is to see the family that “fought” against dictatorship is slowly becoming one. 2012 is fast approaching…. and this dictatorship won’t last long since the people are starting to wake up from the mind control of the yellow media (ABS CBN). They will soon realize that aquino has been playing them for fools and he will soon face the wrath of the people that he lied to.

      1. the common factor from marcos era dictatorship to the budding dictatorship today is the machiavellian cojuangcos. p-noy does their bidding.
i would not credit p-noy with the intellect, charisma, work ethic or passion to be the brains and prime mover. he is the monkey not the organ grinder.

        1. @nona

i would not credit p-noy with the intellect, charisma, work ethic or passion to be the brains and prime mover. he is the monkey not the organ grinder.

          Precisely my thoughts 🙂

        2. It´s a constant pattern throughout the world. The dictators of today do not even posses the charisma of those that preceded them, they are rather wimpy copies. He is indeed a servant, not of the people but of the powers that put him and hold him there.

  13. with cojuangco owning pulse asia – aquino trusted, corona not in latest survey!!! the dictatorship/media manipulation/people propaganda is already 90% in place.
the edifice is already to big and powerful for anyone to challenge dismantle. welcome to hacienda pilipina.
how did people let it get this bad
future presidents – kris aquino – joshua aquino – the aquinos pet dog.

  14. If SC Justice CORONA is the midnight appointee of Gloria Arroyo, what will be the next history if NOYNOY AQUINO lll will also appoint his midnight SC justice. Di ba, Same history! Gumagaya lang siya and that game is a dirty tactics. Kailangan mamulat tayong lahat sa ganyang sestima walang pagbabago. Obviously prevailed! because of his political career. Dapat hindi siya binoto na maging Presidente “NEGATIVE THINKING” pala siya kumalat na sa buong MUNDO. This is a moral lessons to all Filipino people the right choose to vote. Think a million times than to sacrifices a lot. Its a BIG mistake!

  15. PNoy quest is to be a dictator. Nakatikim na. Nasarapan na. He is now drunk with power. He will retain Hacienda Luisita for his Cojuangco clan. He is working on American permission to declare a revolutionary government in exchange for bases, land, oil, gas, ethanol, gold, copper and other minerals. The Americans need land for bases to control the shipping routes off Palawan. They are eyeing the oil and gas in the Spratlys and Sulu Sea. They want the ethanol in the east coast of Isabela. They are lusting after the gold in Mindanao and Bicol, and the copper and minerals in other places. In the case of PNoy, he will have a nice little toy to play with, the Philippines.

  16. talaga naman: hacienda luisita ever since the reason of chaos in our country let us start with MARCOS: he wants it be distributed, he even filed hundred charges against the conjuancos… then he was damned.. CID crime and corruption buster: sec Miriam Defensor Santiago after giving her best in the office she was transferred in DAR,iniisip ni CORY kaya iya paikutin si MIRIAM who really go to far flung mountains para pakinggan ang hinaing ng mga mismong magsasaka..gumawa ng hakbang Agrarian Reform that will affect the HL..ayon minalas kay santa koring, Koring didn’t even drive the people into protest due to electoral sabotage staged by ramos like how she drive the people into insanity during marcos time or maybe she is the one who orchestrated, baka nga mawala ang LUISITA noting na SEC pa nga lang si MDS at sya ang PRES kinakalaban na nito ito.. now corona approve the distribution of the land..again he is condemned..what more can we say? bweset na abnoy yan… dapat sa kanila mamatay nalang lahat..what can you expect pa nga ba sa kanya, clan niya nga di niya matangihan.. pagpapamilya nga di niya maayos, tarlac nga wala siyang nagawang maganda..buong bansa pa..
