President Rodrigo Duterte’s State of the Nation Address (#SONA2018) July 23, 2018

Today, the Philippine President will be delivering his much-awaited State of the Nation Address (SONA) before joint sessions of Philippine Congress. Perhaps, as most Filipino “activists” point out, all this will be “just words”. Everyone from the most pedestrian of Filipino observers to the most be-credentialled “thought leaders” of the land will have an opinion around what the true “state of the nation” really is. The chatter surrounding the pomp and circumstance of this quaint ritual will then be mainly around comparing one or the other’s perception of “reality” to what Duterte says in this speech.

One of the key topics standing out over the din of speculative chatter is talk that Duterte might push for several initiatives the Philippine Opposition led by the Liberal Party (a.k.a. the Yellowtards) deem “dictatorial”. Indeed, the Yellowtards deem practically every pathway to the future Duterte precscribes as roadmaps to “authoritarianism”. What is interesting is that there is, in fact, a lack of any evidence of an authoritarian hand at work thus far in Philippine society. “Activists” continue to engage in their often disruptive and non-constructive “opposition” to the current government. News media organisations remain at full liberty to report their heavily-editorialised “news”, and social media chatter has never been as dynamic — even rambunctious — as it is today.

Whatever the Yellowtards are whining about does not seem to be supported by reality. And so it is with irony that they watch Duterte’s third SONA with what they regard as their “critical” minds and presume to match Duterte’s words with their own versions of “reality”. What they fail to realise is that their own words manifest in their obsolete slogans, their Cold War-era soundbytes, and their 1980s-era narrative of “oppression”, “martyrdom”, and necropolitics all do not match the facts of the Philippine state of the nation.

What remains the same (or has grown more acute, for that matter), is the Yellowtards’ evidently inbred political rhetoric. It is no surprise that their lame approach to “opposition” had failed to evolve because they had, yet again, chosen the easy path of cosying up to one another rather than embrace the broader Filipino community out of which a vast diversity of voices emanate. This laziness has severely weakened the Opposition’s ability to deliver an effective and intelligent opposition to the Duterte administration. The evidence of this failure can be seen not only in the clearly obsolete platitudes they parrot but in the numbers published by independent survey firms that clearly point to the continued popularity of Duterte.

Whereas Duterte offers a different pathway to his people, the Yellowtards and the Opposition they “lead” offer nothing new. A society that is hungry for real change that is fed the same thing will, of course, turn to people who offer alternatives.

Even now, the Yellowtards are deploying their usual blunt weapons to take advantage of the media coverage Duterte’s SONA will be attracting — the same ol’ ocho-ocho street rallies, the same commie-infestation that has, to be fair, become more dominant and had effectively replaced the discredited yellow colour of their “activism”, and the same fear-mongering around the “evil” dictatorial bogeyman of yore. Indeed, the symbolism they will use to highlight the latter will be the biggest non-surprise of the activist circus that will be erupting today — the same old effigy of Duterte in its trite thematic glory that is a product of stunted “activist” imagination: the all-too-familiar likening to the Devil himself in the same ol’ lame attempt to paint the Opposition “fight” as good-versus-evil crusade. Zzzzzzz….

What will the Opposition come up with today? It will, of course, be “news” thanks to the equally unimaginative news editors of the Philippines’ Big Corporate Media monopolies. But in much the same way having pancit for dinner everyday may seem like a good idea at first, it is likely that the Opposition spectacle will come across as the intellectual junk food it has long been reduced to. You’d think the Yellowtards would be reserving their best and most well-thought-out song-and-dance for this day. Unfortunately their show will likely fall flat on its flat face under the weight of their own intellectual bankruptcy.

  1. Yes, the past administrations were awful. What makes you think Duterte will be any different though? Its been long enough to see that hes virtually indistinguishable from previous admins. Same old corruption, impunity, and broken promises. Same old blame for the previous admin while doing the same acts. As a whole, things have gotten worse. There are no solutions except to blame everything on the guys before or blame the opposition.

    1. HOW ABOUT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT YOURSELF, WISEASS!!!!

Do you have any new , radical visions that you can put to the table? How do you intend to implement these?

How are you going to deal with your persistent critics?

If I were in President Duterte, I will not hesitate to meet up with my critics at SONA…so that I can round them up and have them EXECUTED by FIRING SQUAD in front of global media

      1. Looks like I struck a nerve. Maybe the truth hurts. If you want to let yourself be fooled and exploited by politicians, then by all means, dont let me stop you. Just dont come crying to me when nothing has changed a few years from now.

In reality, presidents dont run the show. Theyre just figureheads funded by the kleptocracy behind the scenes. Their job is to keep the masses divided and squabbling amongst themselves while keeping the attention off themselves. Filipino politics is just a show where the real criminals never face punishment.

Whats needed is an intelligent and honest population capable of critical thinking, who are willing to hold criminals accountable for their crimes. Your comment shows that perhaps the Philippines is not yet ready for that.

        1. YES, you are correct. The knee-jerk reaction when someone’s “PRESIDENT’ is shown to be a fraud, just like all the rest, you get verbally attacked.
BUT THE TRUTH IS DUETERTE IS JUST THE SAME AS THE REST.

        2. I think you need to dig deeper to all the accomplishments done so far of this administration when compared to other or previous ones.

The previous ones like to make people think they did big accomplishments when there is none (using media to bolster that notion, since they’re too chummy with the likes of Rappler and Inquirer).

Corruption is everywhere my boy, you weed one out then another still take root. Don’t be gullible to think corruption can be rectified. Even in big orderly first world countries, corruption still happens. Thing is this administration is different and does not tolerate corruption thus promptly kick out or at least remove people found corrupt.

Oh, it’s not yet long enough… this administration is barely half-way through finishing its term. Are you itching for big changes to come? Then wait! There are democratic and lawful ways to accomplish this which is what this government is following. Oh, you want dramatic big changes to happen? Fine… then let the president become a dictator like what Marcos did and start wiping off everyone and shutting down every yakking media station and start hunting down everyone who criticizes them (and may find you and shut you down also). But don’t worry, you haven’t heard, did you, that Du30 is not what you think as a dictator. He actually lets you say what you want to say (like what you said, that’s fine, as long as you are harmless and you just… say things without acting out and doing something about what you said, lols).

Old corruption? yes. Because there are still many corrupt officials surrounding him of which he needs to plan for timing to shut them down (well, Sereno is out, Andre Bautista is gone, etc). Were you living under a rock my dear boy Juan or still sitting under a guava tree with mouth agape waiting for the fruit to fall down on you?

Learn to get sources from other more credible and intelligent media sources in the internet, youtube and Facebook to fee you insights of what makes this government tick and why it still puzzles you to no end why many still love this president unlike the previous ones. Try Karambola (in youtube), or get more explanation from Atty. Trixie-Cruz Angeles, Thinking Pinoy and Sass to get you “thinking” and be more intelligent enough to research and analyze this “performing” government. Listen to Mocha Uson? Er… nevermind her (she’s just being herself, I prefer you listen to the previous ones and not her).

Don’t rely on your viewpoints and news on such devious and unverfied and unskillfully written news reports from questionable media sites like Rappler, Inquirer, New York Times whose credibility had become negative after dishing out hastily written fake news and hearsays without citing credible sources and backed by well-conducted researches.

We are not saying this government is perfect (nothing is, mind you). But at least this is “performing” of which previous ones are not.

Don’t be foolish enough to act like a lazy “Juan” just like what your user ID implies. Learn to dig deep and learn from other sources of information in the Internet.

Or if you are contented to villify nontheless the government, you have the right to do so. I’m not triggered, lols. You have the right to express whatever indignation you feel at the moment. We’ll listen to you… but that does not mean we’ll agree on you and eventually follow you. Remember that, child. Like we’ll act like parents just looking and glaring at you while you whine and throw your child-like tantrum in a corner, throwing your toys with no end, until you calm down and cried yourself dry, lols. That’s how we are going to treat you child “Another Juan”.

As long as the government will stay until it finishes, we are all fine, hehe. As long as Du30 is not removed (yet) until his term ends, we are all fine, hehe.

        3. Ok Anti-Juan, maybe this administration is different.

Can you list the tangible accomplishments which have been made during this admin?

  2. The YellowTards and their opposition cahoots, backed by the Oligarchy and the Aquino Cojuangco political axis, are using the same tactic, that the U.S./C.I.A. had given to them, more than 30 years ago to oust the late Pres. Marcos.

They are bankrupt of any sensible issues, that they could use on Pres. Duterte. The SONA will go on; the “Hakot Demonstrators” and their communists allies, together with the Roman Catholic Church priests and nuns, may put a good show of opposition/disruption. However, most of us Filipinos are fed up with these political shows. It worked before, but now, it does not work anymore.

The SONA is useless. People have Eyes; they can see if progress in the country is really there. The opposition has to come up with better alternative programs.

  3. to stop all these blah blah blah of the yellowtards, gloria arroyo, as the new house leaders, should pursue the hacienda luisita case in the congress and have it distribute to the farmers. that will silence the yellowtards.

  4. “3-6 months to get rid of criminility” which is the backbone of his campaign and yet he cannot deliver such promise. Not even after his term which is 2022 he said. He promised to resign if he cannot deliver such promise and yet today he did not fulfill. The Filipinos are fooled again.

He will “ride a jet ski” to plant the Philippine flag in the South China Sea. Until now the Filipinos are still waiting to such promise.

He will end contractualization immediately the moment he step into presidency. Until now, Filipinos are still waiting. His excuse is up to the Congress, yet we are not stupid to think he doesn’t control the Congress by certifying the bill of ending contractualization as urgent just like how he certified the Bangsamoro Law by giving billions of funds to the rebel group to speed up and pass the measure. Now billions will make those rebel getting richer and will strengten more their private army.

He promise to give Filipinos comfortable life and yet today inflation rate is up to sky high. Peace and order and crimes are at worst. Peso value and stock exchange are plummeting into the lowest zone. Poverty rate is getting higher. Trillions of national debt and more to come by his debt from China and other countries. Tolerating the mendicancy of Filipinos by giving additional expanded billions of cash to the poor thru CCT.

He promise to get rid of incompetence and only select the “best and the brightest” and yet you have the likes of Andanar and Uson as his cabinet secretaries who are the leaders of incompetence and mediocrity. Is he kidding?

“Anti shabu king” and yet his son is allegedly involved with 6.4billions worth of shabu confiscated in Customs and yet he is silent on that. Not even an uproar that the Filipinos are expected of him.

Rice Sufficiency his main target in his SONA before and yet when he confirmed, he said not even after his term we become rice self-sufficient.

Many more I can add. I will just leave this here for now.

16 million idiot voters. The reason why we have a leader as we have today. 2 years in his office and still the Philippines is in its dark days. The neckbrace-wheelchair-hello garci queen is back as House Speaker. Oh, poor Philippines. No chance to prosper. No chance to become First World Country.

    1. Of course, this is just another mindless blabber.

If Leni Robredo becomes president, then you can say ‘Oh, poor Philippines’. If you think she’s going to make the Philippines a First World Country, then you’re delusional.

      Typical Yellowtard shit right there.

    2. Here’s why you’re much more a typical Yellowtard because in fact, you spoke like a conyo.

“3-6 months to get rid of criminility” which is the backbone of his campaign and yet he cannot deliver such promise. Not even after his term which is 2022 he said. He promised to resign if he cannot deliver such promise and yet today he did not fulfill. The Filipinos are fooled again.

I think people who loves to grasp straws are the ones who are easily fooled. Everything is a process so it shows that he had conviction more than previous politicians but still discredited by the biased media. So your loss.

He will “ride a jet ski” to plant the Philippine flag in the South China Sea. Until now the Filipinos are still waiting to such promise.

It seems you’re not in fond of sarcasm and sense of humor. Typical Yellowtards like you are such killjoy that you love to take things too literally to further your own agenda. Which is downright lame.

He promise to get rid of incompetence and only select the “best and the brightest” and yet you have the likes of Andanar and Uson as his cabinet secretaries who are the leaders of incompetence and mediocrity. Is he kidding?

Unfortunately for you, this is more of an antagonization than an argument because as far as I know, you never offer solutions of WHO and only just “random people”. You can’t even think of names so this is another senseless blabber. If shady characters like Lacierda, Hilbay, Laurio, Carandang, and Coloma are “the best and the brightest” then you got totally blinded by your Yellowtard glasses.

“Anti shabu king” and yet his son is allegedly involved with 6.4billions worth of shabu confiscated in Customs and yet he is silent on that. Not even an uproar that the Filipinos are expected of him.

Another senseless blabber from Yellow Citizen, ladies and gents. Because to you, allegation = true. It’s a pity that you believe in clowns like Trillanes. How is he silent if he allows the law to do the job for his son, unlike Noynoy Aquino who used public funds to get rid of a Chief Justice. Of course, there’s no uproar because the media conditioned the hate on that former Chief Justice.

Rice Sufficiency his main target in his SONA before and yet when he confirmed, he said not even after his term we become rice self-sufficient.

It’s his 3rd SONA, but it seems you love to rush things.

Many more I can add. I will just leave this here for now.

Um, son. Just don’t. You have nothing to offer.

Says the guy who thought that people who voted for Mar Roxas and Grace Poe are “intelligent”. If one of these two people have become the head of state, it will only grew worse and we will be still in the dark ages for another 30 years. And your disdain on Arroyo proves that you are one of those EMO-inducing asses who are easily deceived by the media during those times that you mindlessly joined on the hate bandwagon. Oh, poor Aquino-Cojuangco Citizen and your fellow power-hungry Yellowtards. And for the Philippines to be a First World Country, we already lost that chance after 1986 and replaced by a government whored by media that keeps telling you ‘everything is okay’ and never looked for progress as a nation and a society but to be part of a mediocrity.

Take your trolling to somewhere else.

    3. Well said. See how you’ve stated nothing but fact, using Duterte’s OWN WORDS, and pointed out his lies and broken promises. Does anyone here deny that Duterte made those promises or that he failed to live up to them?

Of course not, because it’s absolutely undeniable.

Instead they attack you for forcing them to face the reality they cannot accept. They resort to calling you a “yellowtard” instead of acknowledging that which they know is true.

As far as I can tell, there’s no way to tell the difference between a ‘yellowtard’ and a ‘dutertard’. The same inability to think critically persists. The same inability to hold people accountable, and the need to resort to character worship exists.

      1. You said it’s ‘undeniable’ because you’re not using your brain and you just rely on the biased media.

If anything, it’s not even ‘fact’ but more like half-truths, misinterpretations and misunderstandings and it’s presented as ‘lies’ and ‘broken promises’. This is a fine example of lazy thinking.

And as far as I can tell, there is a difference. Yellowtardism exists way back before Duterte and it exists for 30 years. In any case, a ‘dutertard’ is the lesser evil. Go figure.

        1. So you deny that Duterte made these promises? That he would end crime and drugs in 3-6months or he would resign, among many others. There are direct quotes of him saying these exact things.

        2. So you deny that Duterte made these promises? That he would end crime and drugs in 3-6months or he would resign, among many others. There are direct quotes of him saying these exact things.

You’re missing the point. If someone not named Duterte would say the same thing then you would tolerate it. The difference is that there are many enemies are against him and even use his misunderstood statements as a tool against him.

You’re taking things too literaly. You should know that there are people who use methaphor, sarcasm, and hyperbole on speeches. Perhaps people like you would take a satirical article too seriously.

        3. Actually, I would not tolerate it if a politician did the same thing. I’ve always been against the crimes and excesses of the yellows. I was actually excited for the presidency of Duterte, and thought he was an outsider, though now I’ve lost faith that he’s any different.

        4. I just want to quote Dom’s comment as a counterpoint:

It is downright funny that those who took Duterte’s campaign spiel hook, line and sinker are the Antis and the Yellows. I voted for Duterte because out of all the candidates, he’s the only one whom I think has the guts or the political will to tackle most of our country’s problem and NOT because I expected him to ride a jetski or eradicate illegal drugs and criminality within 6 months or take any of his promises literally which ALL politicians do.

What you exhibited is lazy thinking. Go figure.

  5. “Anti-God of Roman Catholic/Christians”, “Anti-Bible King” and yet Duterte approved the “National Bible Month” every month of January to further strengten the faith and likelihood of Filipinos to pray and believe in the Bible. Duterte was found to be in the Catholic Church many times kneeling in front of the God of Catholic. That’s hypocricy. He doesn’t want to defy the Church also because he is against anti-divorce bill and his dog the Solicitor General is against the same-sex marriage. So, the Church influences to the Filipinos has been strengthen further thanks to Duterte. The reproductive health law until now is not into progress. Maybe he is sleeping on it or is not his priority. Otherwise, he will order his minions in the Supreme Court to make this law wholly constitutional. Poor Filipinos are still very productive in making babies like rabbits ballooning the already swelling population and adding to the poverty incidence of the country and yet Duterte is not doing anything in 2 years.

“Anti-jetfighter king.” He labelled the already bought FA-50 fighter jets from South Korea as “a waste of money and only for decorations” and yet during the war in Marawi, he swallowed his pride and used the FA-50 fighter jets of his opposition Noynoy Aquino, which was the reason the military was able to defeat the terrorists in Marawi.

“A vigilante mindset-king” he took pride in getting rid of 36 alleged drug addicts without due process and says “it is better to kill 36 addicts a day and maybe we can get rid of what ills this country. ” Alleged thousands of victims of his drug war are not getting any justice until now.

“Illegal Drug War King” yet he is fond of getting high with Fentanyl as he said. A drug not approved in the USA but for him it is legal.

“Independent Foreign Policy” as he trumpeted in his administration and yet the Philippines is heavily relying on China for funding and military arsenals. We are always a puppet of China since Duterte came into presidency.

Duterte is giving away the billions worth of crude and natural oil/gas in the central mindanao to the rebel group which is supposed to be for the benefit of the whole Philippines.

Duterte likes to joke about rape. He said it should be him first in raping women before other men.

What else is still lacking. Maybe all I have said is just a half of his supposed SONA report. LOL

    1. “Anti-God of Roman Catholic/Christians”, “Anti-Bible King” and yet Duterte approved the “National Bible Month” every month of January to further strengten the faith and likelihood of Filipinos to pray and believe in the Bible. You’re still grasping on straws here. It’s more like he’s pointing on the Catholic priests and the clergy, especially most of them are critical against Duterte. It’s a misunderstanding which you love to make a big deal about it.

Again, you’re taking things too literally so this is nothing but mindless blabber. Next.

“A vigilante mindset-king” he took pride in getting rid of 36 alleged drug addicts without due process and says “it is better to kill 36 addicts a day and maybe we can get rid of what ills this country. ” Alleged thousands of victims of his drug war are not getting any justice until now.

The war on drugs is up to debate but you and your fellow Yellowtards love to take things not just too literally but out of context. Drug wars are bloody wars and they have a hard time dealing with this because most of politicians are involved in narcopolitics. Straw grasping, as always.

“Independent Foreign Policy” as he trumpeted in his administration and yet the Philippines is heavily relying on China for funding and military arsenals. We are always a puppet of China since Duterte came into presidency.

And? The Philippines is also heavily relying on Russia as well. And again, we ARE still a puppet of China in the first place. Not because of Duterte but it’s way back in 1986. In fact, you’re supporting Sinophobia. In other words, fearmongering.

Duterte is giving away the billions worth of crude and natural oil/gas in the central mindanao to the rebel group which is supposed to be for the benefit of the whole Philippines.

Nice troll post. What he means is Moros, not Moro rebels. Or perhaps you love to overrate what Nur Misuari said back in 2008 and because of that, you’re using it just to tell that Duterte is giving it to a rebel group. But to be honest, it would make sense if we shift to federalism.

Duterte likes to joke about rape. He said it should be him first in raping women before other men.

Rape jokes are bad. But this is what happens when you just read a part of the story and not the whole picture. Again, you’ve just been deceived by the biased media who is against Duterte. So your loss.

What else is still lacking. Maybe all I have said is just a half of his supposed SONA report. LOL

Nah, you had it enough. There’s no need for that since you’re contradicting yourself that you finally resorting to trolling because you have no argument to come up with. KEK

    2. 1) “Otherwise, he will order his minions in the Supreme Court to make this law wholly constitutional. ”
      – Is that not proof enough that he’s not a dictator as what the antis portray him to be? I think most of you just can’t make up your mind or could be stupid enough not to realize your stupidity.

      2) “Anti-jetfighter king.” He labelled the already bought FA-50 fighter jets from South Korea as “a waste of money and only for decorations” and yet during the war in Marawi, he swallowed his pride and used the FA-50 fighter jets of his opposition Noynoy Aquino, which was the reason the military was able to defeat the terrorists in Marawi.”
      – Stupidity on so many levels, a FA-50 will never be able to defeat any terrorists in any war in the world unless you equip it with a nuke and annihilate everything including your puny mind.

      3) ““A vigilante mindset-king” he took pride in getting rid of 36 alleged drug addicts without due process and says “it is better to kill 36 addicts a day and maybe we can get rid of what ills this country. ” Alleged thousands of victims of his drug war are not getting any justice until now.”
      – Keyword right there is ALLEGED. Your word. Eat it and shit on it.

      4) “Illegal Drug War King” yet he is fond of getting high with Fentanyl as he said. A drug not approved in the USA but for him it is legal.
      – Since when did the Fentanyl drug became illegal in the US? This is what the USDEA said (The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration said on Thursday that it would classify illicit versions of the synthetic opioid fentanyl at the same level as heroin, allowing criminal prosecution of anyone who possesses, distributes or manufactures illicit versions of the drug.) Do you understand what the phrase ILLICIT VERSION means? It means there’s one that is legal and regulated and there’s another version that is illegal and unregulated. Go back to school!

      5) “Independent Foreign Policy” as he trumpeted in his administration and yet the Philippines is heavily relying on China for funding and military arsenals. We are always a puppet of China since Duterte came into presidency.
      – What would he do if everything he tries to procure from the West entails so many conditionalities which most of the time is ridiculous, like, did you forgot about the supposed done deal of attack Helicopters the Phils. wanted to purchase from Canada but the idiots are afraid we might use it to attack insurgents? What the fuck does an ATTACK copter is used for? Use it as Kris Aquino’s transpo like those Sokols she used for the Roxas’ campaign? Stupid!

      6) Duterte is giving away the billions worth of crude and natural oil/gas in the central mindanao to the rebel group which is supposed to be for the benefit of the whole Philippines.
      – There’s no viable proof there will be billions worth of gas or oil in that area. Yes there’s gas, methane gas that is which is normal in any lakes/swamps/canals but for you to conclude it’s worth “billions”, maybe you think your shit is worth billions too but that will be just a shitty opinion.

      7) Duterte likes to joke about rape. He said it should be him first in raping women before other men.
      – You prefer to be raped figuratively and literally by the yellow narrative than taking a chauvinist joke, right?

      8) What else is still lacking. Maybe all I have said is just a half of his supposed SONA report.
      – What’s LACKING here is your addled brain can’t grasp anything even if it’s clearly in front of your face. I know you won’t get it, but I understand.

      1. This is an intelligent post. You briefly exposed Pino-err, Yellowtard Citizen’s stupidity right there. he doesn’t want to admit but he keeps on lying all the time, like his fellow Yellowtards do.

      2. “Illegal Drug War King” yet he is fond of getting high with Fentanyl as he said. A drug not approved in the USA but for him it is legal.

Hypocritical Yellowtard trolls like yourself would love to overrate this narrative, which is about 2 years ago. Fentanyl is legal but you said that the US considered it as illegal… in ILLICIT VERSIONS, like Dom said. You just love to cherrypick stories in order to fit your own narrative.

TBH, you’re choking on your own tears with your LOL annotation. It shows how utterly desperate the Yellowtard Opposition are doing as it shows but you chose not to admit it.

Thanks for proving to me that you’re ALWAYS grasping on straws with this rant.

I had a healthy conversation with one of my friends, who is a pastor. He discussed about the reason, in his opinion, about Duterte’s intention of his statement that ‘God is stupid’. He believes in God, he himself said it. But his intention is to shake the Catholic church in our country and would lead Filipinos to THINK for themselves about what is right and wrong.

In case you don’t notice, the 1987 Constitution (our current constitution) is based from the dogmatic teachings of the Catholic church and the Roman Catholic Church played a vital role in the political landscape of this country. In other words, there are still people who does this ‘kung ano ang sinasabi ng Simbahang Katolika, ito ang ating sundin’. They have no capability to THINK because they instead follow what the Catholic Church tells them to do. So it’s not ‘strengthening the faith’ like you blabber; more like strengthening the stranglehold on Filipinos just to remain the status quo, since many, many years, including 300 years back.

Look, I’m an evangelical Christian. But I believe that the Bible is and should be our sole authority for faith and practice, not based on the Catholic dogma and tradition. During the course of history that it is the Catholic church that hinder the progress to make the Word of God accessible to everyone; John Wycliffe translate the Bible in English… and declared a heretic. John Huss wanted to reform the Catholic church but also declared a heretic AND burned at the stake. Until Martin Luther finally breaks the cycle with the Protestant Reformation and you know the rest.

If anything, God gave us FREE WILL (thinking) in order for us to choose what is right and wrong. God loves us so He wants us to love Him back. He doesn’t want robots to serve Him. So I felt iffy when you said you are free to go if you want to leave the Catholic church, but its odd teachings strangle every Filipino that it is now ingrained in our culture. You connect the dots.

  6. It is downright funny that those who took Duterte’s campaign spiel hook, line and sinker are the antis and the yellows. I voted for Duterte because out of all the candidates, he’s the only one whom I think has the guts or the political will to tackle most of our country’s problem and NOT because I expected him to ride a jetski or eradicate illegal drug within 6 months or take any of his promises literally which ALL politician does.

But so far, Duterte already has done a lot compared to other past presidents with his 2 years in office.

If there’s one thing that I wished and hope he will really fulfill, i’m expecting more criminal suspects to literally bite the dust and become dust or whatever. Duterte used to say during the election period to get on the funeral parlor business and you’ll become rich, but no, how come this sector is still not thriving? Even a friend of mine who is in this cadaver processing business still can’t pay off his debts due to lack of customers! He even said it was much better during Noynoy Aquino’s administration as there were more dead bodies delivered to his place a lot of which were victims of riding-in-tandem robbers and thieves!

So that promise bodies will pile up with his war on drug , I won’t buy that anymore. Only idiots think it is because the only bodies i’m seeing that’s rising in numbers now are those Dengvaxia inoculated kids and NOT A SINGLE ANTI OR DILAW WILL EVER CARE IF IT GOES UP as it doesn’t fit the yellow libtards narrative!

    1. When Duterte said invest in Funeral Parlor I gathered embalmer, incinerators and coffin craftsmen. I bought old hearses installed police radios so they can be there before some funeral parlor body snatchers get there first and drivers that drive like ambulance drivers. I ENDED UP BANKRUPT. Investors sued me. Banks repossessed everything I had.

      WHY?

Because all dead were poor druggies their next of kin would rather not spend on Funeral Services. I got plenty of cadavers still waiting to be claimed. I sold those unclaimed to U.P., Santo Tomas, Ateneo and la Salle doctor’s colleges I was rebuffed. They also have enough cadavers for students to cut-up.

Funeral Parlor is not a good proposition. I switched from Funeral Parlor to Beauty Parlor. Remaining make-up kit for cadavers are now used for beauty parlor customers for their wedding and party make-ups.

    2. Benigno Aquino is the presidential druglord that got away … not really got away … because BSCAIII did not run. He is lying in his hammock sipping daiquiri while children got Dengvaxia.

BSCAIII approved Filipino children as guinea pigs. French drug companies tested it on rats. It flew with flying colors. They tested pigs. It passed. They want to test it on real people before releasing it worldwide. They needed a president. They got it. Filipino children.

thankfully only a handful of Filipino children dead. BSCAIII whistling his way to the bank.

  7. Many can sway a thousand men by appealing to their prejudices quicker than one can convince men by logic. It is only the intellectually lost who ever argue.
