Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla a.k.a. ‘KathNiel’ in hot water over serious election offenses!

Reports of celebrities posting selfies of themselves holding ballots and sporting partisan-themed clothing are circulating across the Net. One particularly viral meme involves that of popular showbiz “love team” Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, together known as “KathNiel” showing them posing for a photo holding what seems to be a recently filled out ballot form.

The photos were allegedly taken by ABS-CBN News reporter Gretchen Fullido who may also face chages.

Guidelines issued by the Philippines’ Commission on Elections (COMELEC) specifically prohibit taking photos of ballots inside the precinct or taking these documents outside of said precinct.

Complaints regarding this and other incidents have reached COMELEC spokesman James Jimenez who, in response, tweeted late morning Monday May 09, 2016:

kathryn and daniel and i need to talk #PiliPinas

If the COMELEC were serious about their guidelines, they should ‘throw the book’ at Mesdames Bernardo and Fullido; and, Mr. Padilla. Whether they were tasked and paid to perform this buffoonery by some powerful candidate; or, they were just too dense to know their liability is irrelevant. But, something tells me, they will go scott-free without so much as a slap on the wrist.

INC yan si Kathryn. She should have voted for Duterte. Now we can see if she followed “da rulez”.

As per my friends in INC, she is no longer affiliated with the religious group as she had received money when she endorsed Roxas.

Let’s wait and see as to how the COMELEC would address this issue. Laws are laws.

Also, how come the local media doesn’t even get a slap on the wrist every time it hounds and peers its camera lenses on electoral candidates working on their ballot forms inside their precincts?

well nothing happened, guanzon just gave them a get out of jail free card.
this is the kind of freedom that makes the philippines the TRUE land of the free: the freedom to piss on the law and walk away unpunished.

Their opinions don’t matter, their just a bunch of coked out kids. Overheard some of the business unit heads while workin at TFC they were snorting coke at the after party for one of the events in the Bay Area.
