The whole trouble with woke people comes down to a simple thesis: these people have created too many options for themselves but discarded traditional social structures that channeled these options in a way the human brain could deal with.
The brain, it seems, is less efficient when options are abundant. When faced with abundance, our brains seize up and do something that our physical nature abhors — burn precious calories on conscious thought. This is why we overthink where to park in an empty parking lot and take far longer to choose what to watch from a streaming service than it took when browsing DVDs in a rental shop of the old days. Though the world has lots to offer, humans’ ability to parse options is very limited.
This is why browsing the net has come down to the sad state that it is today — an infinitely scrolling feed. We no longer browse the Net on our devices and apps. We just scroll. We leave it up the algorithms to determine what we see next. A structure has emerged in the technology landscape to serve content to us in a manner human brains have been accustomed to — sequentially over a single dimension. Our feeble human minds are now comfy with this structure.

This brings us to the essence of why woke people are such nutjobs. It’s because they would like to see a world of infinite options across multiple dimensions and do away with social structures that, for thousands of years of human civilisation, enabled the average individual human mind to manage its expectations of life. In their quest to create new social options and constructs and stretch the bounds of existing ones, they create for themselves an inherently inconsistent universe that messes with their heads.
The arrogance and hubris of a woke person is that they presume to be intelligent enough to grasp an artificial world of infinite choice and elasticity. Because such a world that they inhabit is inherently inconsistent (because rules within it are made to be “fluid”) woke people are, themselves, inherently inconsistent. Intelligence is of no use in a world where rules are done away with and that anything or any notion can either be willed into or wished away from existence and rules simply re-adjusted to cater to these arbitrary changes.

When a lack of options puts you in chronic survival mode, the stress response narrows down your thinking and forces you to downgrade… to the point where you are unable to think your way out and you’re left with no choice but to surrender your own agency.

This is the core problem with the Philippines. It does not have a strong (if any) technology or engineering tradition. All it has is victimhood tradition — which is fertile ground for a lawyer infestation.
A lot of “experts” suggest that the Philippines does not put a strong enough emphasis on industrial development without realising that the very DNA of Filipino culture itself is missing a key ingredient — technological and engineering aptitude. Nick Joaquin cited this specifically in his seminal piece A Heritage of Smallness where he writes:

The thing is it would be so easy to do it.
Have the Army build. There are millions of students studying for army/police who will never get in because they dont understand english. Lower the standards, let them in, and put them to work as labor. Contractors in this country do not work. The corruption is too ingrained. Have the “Army” build roads, build schools, etc all under national defense.
Duterte had the right idea with build build build, but either he dodnt understand the contractor/dpwh corruption or he knew it and was ok with it. Marcos is too weak. Sara Duterte is too emotional.
eventually we will have to consider that pinoy DNA is hardwired over centuries to survive on the bare minimum of resources.

westerner’s idea to escape the rat race is to run doubly hard so they can retire in some tropical paradise, while pinoys escape the same by refusing to run at all.
now if we could just clean up the streets, kill all the criminals, keep the drains flowing, get rid of all the lawyers and get government to work again, that would be a step in the right direction.

Thinking is on autopilot. In an uncritical population, don’t be surprised, corruption thrives — It’s easy to simply take the money & coast along.
In today’s society, expressing offense, particularly in a ’woke’ manner, serves as a survival strategy and a means of achieving one’s desired outcomes — that was the expectation, but nothing is truly resolved.
So again, it comes down to acquiring and capitalising resources to turn mere feelings of offense to actual offensive action.
Woke people are big on mere feelings but possess no resources to act on these (beyond quaint “activism”). That’s polar opposite to those who quietly accumulate (like the Chinese). Success is, indeed, the best revenge!

You could if you have the inclination and stomach for it. The fact is we all have that capacity for violence. It’s embedded deep in the reptilian core of our brains and is something we share with all mammals and, of course, reptiles.
No personal offense meant and taken, but why does that sound like a man threatening a female partner just because he’s the one with the muscle? That’s the logic in your argument.
I’d like to add something… I think wokes are more reacting to the offending choices that they see. They can’t parse it because something offends them. It’s more like they can’t parse reality because things that offend them exist. So they go nutjob trying to eliminate these “offending choices.” Only choices that they approve must exist! It goes with my theory that they believe in Philosophical Idealism – that they can control and reshape the real world as they see fit. It’s their cope for being unable to accept reality.
For commies and other nutjob lefties, the world’s troubles exist because the world is not what they see that it ought to be.
The first mistake is to think that the world can be divided between right and left politics, because it traps people in perspectives already drawn out to distract them from seeing and solving real issues. Everybody’s capable of violence, but not everybody can rise above instinct and see a greater cause than himself.
