The whole trouble with woke people comes down to a simple thesis: these people have created too many options for themselves but discarded traditional social structures that channeled these options in a way the human brain could deal with.
The brain, it seems, is less efficient when options are abundant. When faced with abundance, our brains seize up and do something that our physical nature abhors — burn precious calories on conscious thought. This is why we overthink where to park in an empty parking lot and take far longer to choose what to watch from a streaming service than it took when browsing DVDs in a rental shop of the old days. Though the world has lots to offer, humans’ ability to parse options is very limited.
This is why browsing the net has come down to the sad state that it is today — an infinitely scrolling feed. We no longer browse the Net on our devices and apps. We just scroll. We leave it up the algorithms to determine what we see next. A structure has emerged in the technology landscape to serve content to us in a manner human brains have been accustomed to — sequentially over a single dimension. Our feeble human minds are now comfy with this structure.

This brings us to the essence of why woke people are such nutjobs. It’s because they would like to see a world of infinite options across multiple dimensions and do away with social structures that, for thousands of years of human civilisation, enabled the average individual human mind to manage its expectations of life. In their quest to create new social options and constructs and stretch the bounds of existing ones, they create for themselves an inherently inconsistent universe that messes with their heads.
The arrogance and hubris of a woke person is that they presume to be intelligent enough to grasp an artificial world of infinite choice and elasticity. Because such a world that they inhabit is inherently inconsistent (because rules within it are made to be “fluid”) woke people are, themselves, inherently inconsistent. Intelligence is of no use in a world where rules are done away with and that anything or any notion can either be willed into wished away from existence and rules simply re-adjusted to cater to these arbitrary changes.
