Commies in the Philippine Senate open doors to pork barrel funding of NPA and other terrorists

Various communist front organisations are now crying bloody murder over the on-going party-list purge being undertaken by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to rid the country of groups found to be inconsistent with the party-list concept. Communist front Bayan Muna, for one, faced with mounting pressure to justify its continued branding as a party-list group “believes the Aquino administration and its allied groups are behind moves to have them disqualified from the 2013 polls.”

Allowing communist elements to exist either as legitimate participants in the democratic process or as outlaws infesting the hinterlands is a lose-lose proposition. If Bayan Muna candidate Teodoro Casiño, for example, succeeds in his bid for a seat in the Philippine Senate in the 2013 elections, he will have access to the notorious pork barrel funds routinely disbursed by Malacañang to Senators (a practice widely-criticised as a means used by the Executive Branch to influence and solicit favours and support from legislators). These funds could then be diverted to the funding of the communist New People’s Army’s (NPA) terrorist activities.

This is also an assertion made by a group called the People’s Advocacy for Collaboration and Empowerment (PEACE) who have filed a complaint with the COMELEC denouncing various party lists as including Bayan Muna as mere fronts of the outlawed Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).

Peace, along with the New Guardians for Freedom and Democracy, and the People’s Advocacy for Collaboration and Empowerment and Pro Democracy Foundation of the Philippines, claims Bayan Muna and several other “communist party-list groups” are using their P70-million yearly pork barrel to fund the New People’s Army (NPA).

Indeed, although Bayan Muna representative Neri Colmenares denied this claim, it is noteworthy that his official statement to the media did not include any explicit denial of any links between his organisation and the NPA.

“They have no evidence against us because there is no truth to their allegations that Bayan Muna is diverting government funds to the NPA […]”

Back in 2002, no less than Jose Maria Sison, leader of the CPP and probable commander-in-chief of the NPA issued a press statement describing how the NPA plays a key role in the overall terrorism landscape of the Philippines…

The revolutionary forces of the Bangsamoro, like the MILF and the progressive section of the MNLF can consolidate their armies and choose the time for launching their own offensives, while the military, police and paramilitary forces of the Manila government are preoccupied with their campaigns of suppression against the revolutionary people and forces in most parts of the archipelago. In the future rounds of revolutionary armed struggle by the Moro people, the reactionary armed forces will fare worse than their continuing failure to destroy a small bandit gang called Abu Sayyaf in the tiny island of Basilan.

The PEACE complaint reportedly cited Bayan Muna as being part of a coalition of several organisations that serve as legal “fronts” to Sison’s communist party…

[…] no less than Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria Sison identified legal democratic forces that help their cause including the Bagong Alyansyang Makabayan (Bayan), Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), the Pambansang Kilusang Magbubukid or the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP), Gabriela, League of Filipino Students (LFS), Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) and KADENA.

The Communist Party of the Philippines is a leading communist party in the Philippines. It remains an underground political organization since its founding on December 26, 1968 and has been operating in clandestine manner since its founding. It aims to overthrow the Philippine government through armed revolution with its direct leadership over the New People’s Army and National Democratic Front.

Soon after its reestablishment, the Party linked up with the other cadres and commanders of the Hukbong Mapagpalaya ng Bayan (HMB), remnant of the Hukbalahap and engaged them in ideological and political studies, mass work and politico-military training. On March 29, 1969, the New People’s Army was established and on April 24, 1973 the National Democratic Front (Philippines).

Afterwards, the CPP launched the “protracted people’s war” a strategical line developed by Mao Zedong during the phase of guerrilla warfare of the Communist Party of China. The eventual objective is to install a “people’s revolutionary government” via a two-stages revolution: National Democratic Revolution followed by a Socialist Revolution.

Kawawang dapitan.

    2. Here we go again on your hearsays. All of you’ve posted are all ALLEGATIONS. Or maybe you don’t know what that means. 😛

Hindi talaga magiting si Noynoy since he was friends with the leftists, who are destroying the country on the inside.

      1. Pre may kasabihan “in order to succeed you have to make your friend closer and your enemy even closer” yn ang leadership..

        1. Fact: Real leadership is making the right choices.

In Noynoy’s case, he made wrong choices since most of the people he hired have questionable integrity. He’s just playing the political game, but much worse.

Honestly, Arroyo is better when it comes to leadership compared to Noynoy.

      1. Tama…

        1. Why not tell YOURSELF because you’re now using those names for your impersonation schemes.

That’s what TROLLS do, whether you like it or not. Of course, you won’t admit because you will blatantly lie about it.

        2. If someone here is a creature alien, it’s YOU. Everyone here is fed up of your TROLLING and SHITPOSTING that led everyone to leave here due to your constant bullying and harassment.

It’s your way of posting “I practically own this site and I can do whatever I want and nobody’s gonna stop me! I’m a twisted psychopathic sadist who loves to piss off people and there’s nothing you can do about it! Fuck yourselves, niggas in this site! TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL”

Congratulations, Propaganda Boy. You succeeded on your scheme that someone is suffering a severe headache thanks for your bullying and abuse.

  3. The named groups described as legal support fronts do what they do best. Thus the use of democracy against democracy. They can infiltrate the highest corridors of power through the portals of hiring, election, integration and appointment. They can file resolutions or bills that can affect military operations in procurement, logistics and even court cases to harass the AFP with false human rights violations. They can reveal classified information to the CPP-NPA-NDF. They were instrumental in destroying the ROTC. It is very true that pork funding can be diverted to the CPP-NPA-NDF. Officers and members of these organizations have been known to go to the hills, train with the NPA and have even engaged in firefight encounters with government forces. Many have experience in first aid and IED bomb training as was experienced in the Morong 43 incident. We are no longer surrounded from the countrysides as these communist legal support fronts are already operating within the cities, towns and barangays in the NCR and elsewhere. They can count millions as members. These members are a clear and present danger to the NCR and many other built-up areas. Many are trained to fight with the regular NPA and can be used as urban partisans in a worst case red communist coup scenario. Beware the communist legal front organizations. They are a moving force that supports and augments the armed component known as the CPP-NPA-NDF!

    1. These commie organisations have succeeded at creating a perception amongst da Pinoy public that they have gone legit and mainstream when in fact they still remain faithful to their mission of non-negotiable complete overthrow of the current democratic system of government.

They are the biggest poseurs in Philippine society today — bigger hypocrites than even the trapo politicians they presume to detest.

      1. @benign0

You are correct in your views benign0. The problem with some of our trapo politicians is that they have been known to support both the armed component and the legal support fronts with donations. Political expediency and opportunism extends even to those Local Governments people who collaborate with them. It does not matter as long as they can count on communist support. Being politically untouchable with powerful communist allies who can support their guaranteed election makes them at par with the enemies of the state.

    2. The fox is in the hen house. The fox is a clever one BUT the farmer is aware and is vigilant, while also appearing benevolent,u kno…for appearances sake. The farmer likes to let the fox thin out the herd, good for breeding.Communists=No worries.

    1. I dunno. Maybe we should give it a try. The current “democracy” isn’t working out. Then again, this is Flips we’re talking about. They’re bound to crash and burn.

  4. During his mother’s time, she allowed herself to be surrounded by commies. From being obscure and irrelevant, she resurrected them. If not for the mutinous few in the military, they could have gained some ground. Now the son is a willing victim allowing himself to be undressed and circumcised with his eyes wide open with a smirk to match by this same commies dressed in sheeps’ clothing. I am sure they always give him the dirty finger when he’s not looking.

  5. Isn’t it jarring that there are few celebrities who have connections/share benefits with those commie factions while at the same time enjoying the fruits of capitalism? I beg everyone’s pardon if I’m wrong here.

      1. The Roman Catholic Church is strongly against communism, according to paragraph 2425 of its Catechism (http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p3s2c2a7.htm):

“The Church has rejected the totalitarian and atheistic ideologies associated in modem times with ‘communism’ or ‘socialism.’ She has likewise refused to accept, in the practice of ‘capitalism,’ individualism and the absolute primacy of the law of the marketplace over human labor. Regulating the economy solely by centralized planning perverts the basis of social bonds; regulating it solely by the law of the marketplace fails social justice, for ‘there are many human needs which cannot be satisfied by the market.’ Reasonable regulation of the marketplace and economic initiatives, in keeping with a just hierarchy of values and a view to the common good, is to be commended.”

The Vatican has also issued a Decree against Communism in 1949. I wonder how would those commie-sympathizing Catholic maharlikas would feel if they get excommunicated by the Archbishop of Manila.

        Again, no offense intended.

        1. @MKDL Studios

Paragraph 2425 is also against Mr. BS Aquino’s Akbayan Socialist Partylist which is for participatory socialism. This Socialist Partylist is the favorite of BS Aquino even though it is not even marginalized. The Akbayan are seen as above ground communists.

  6. Why are the communists still very much around despite decades of insurgency? The primary reason is the lack of a strong political will which should emanate from the apex of political power. As I said before, even our “traditional” politicians play and sleep with them for the sake of political expediency and opportunism. The Tamil Tigers were fought to a standstill. Why can’t we do the same with the CPP-NPA-NDF and their legal support fronts?
A coordinated campaign targetting their command and control, tax collection, financial repositories and base camp infrastructure will really succeed when this is followed up by pacification and development programs. Policies or laws can outlaw their legal support fronts and stop them from channeling funds. Financiers assets can be frozen. Sources of black market or terrorist arms, ammo and ordnance/explosives can be neutralized by airtight cases prepared by special prosecution teams. For years the government has been dealing peace with the enemies of the state from a position of weakness. Our weak leaders even allow them a status of belligerency when we hold the one-sided peace talks abroad.

  7. Communism as an ideology is dead. Gone. No more…period. The real world enemy today is the Islamic movement/muslim brotherhood who are setting the stage for a world war because they believe that a worldwide destruction would pave the way for the return of their god allah.

    1. @LA702

“Communism as an ideology is dead. Gone. No more… period.”

You are dead wrong. It still lives. The CPP-NPA-NDF actively operating in Mindanao have a formal alliance with the MILF/bangsamoro terror and lawless elements alliance. Aside from their regular MILF fighters, they have ASG, J.I. Al Qaeda in Asia, Bomb training Cadre, Lost Commands, Splinter Groups, Pintakasi civilian support elements(including child and women soldiers) and criminal elements.

      1. BS Aquino does not seem to realize the dire implications of the CPP-NPA-NDF formal alliance with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front(MILF)/bangsamoro in Mindanao. This means they will be helping each other against the AFP/PNP. The CPP-NPA-NDF are also granted sanctuary within MILF/bangsamoro territory. IED/Bomb making technology can be transferred to the communist rebels. MILF can now enter NPA camps for sanctuary in the Visayas and Luzon. The enemies of the state(Islamofascists and Communists) are now united.

  8. Communism is an obsolete ideology. It left many people dead in its revolution. The Killing fields in Cambodia. The Stalin “Gulags” in the former Soviet Union. It’s like political family dynasties also. Look at North Korea. the son has succeeded his father. In Cuba, the brother succeeded his own brother. No choice…

  9. Our “traditional” politicians in both central and local governments are to blame for continuing to support the CPP-NPA-NDF. Political opportunism and expediency confirms this supporting factor. The formal alliance of the CPP-NPA-NDF with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front/bangsamoro changes the picture completely. Remember that BS Aquino himself donated PHP5 Million to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. What is to stop the enemies of the state from applying for CCT in their areas of operations? Our “traditional” politicians will surely pour donations to both Communist and Islamofascist allies. The donated “capital” will also fund and raise the ugly head of Narco-Terrorism in their areas of operations. Marijuana plantations and Shabu factories are not only lucrative business. They are seen as an ends and means to destroy our society. Will the Communist-Islamofascist unholy alliance prosper? I say that will depend on whether totalitarian MILF/bangsamoro theocracy will prevail over secular government. The members of the CPP-NPA-NDF are still looked upon as kafir(unbelievers/infidels)in Mindanao by the fundamantalist islamic extremists. The Qur’an commands: “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.” The big question is who is using whom? The alliance is tactically expedient and beneficial to both groups for now. When and if the winds of war changes and the moro state is created… the CPP-NPA-NDF could find itself an endangered species in Mindanao. On the other hand, is an Islamic Socialist Republic impossible in Mindanao? Only time will tell.

  10. Sigh, do we need to go through the same process as China in which commies takes over, with Joma Sison as da Pinoy version of Mao tse-Tung and wait for the country to get more f***ed up than now? Also, given da Pinoy mindset, I doubt we’ll have a Deng Xiaoping-like figure.

    1. The Chinese are (in my opinion) mercantile at heart. Mao Zedong bankrupted China and through his Cultural Revolution turned it into a polluted, fascist, discriminatory state where freedom of speech, religion and enterprise were severely limited. Deng Xiaoping, despite his snafu with Tiananmen, knew how to open China up to the world; the economic boom we see now in China is Deng’s doing.

The CPP-NDF-NPA (along with its partylist tendrils) want to replicate Mao’s Cultural Revolution in the Philippines. For some reason they hate the fact that some people are so successful, so they resort to torching the fruits of their successes.

If the Philippines is headed towards becoming a Maoist state, I would head to the nearest US/Euro embassy and seek asylum there.

  11. The Comelec has the weapon of removal or cancellation against partylists who support the violence of the CPP-NPA-NDF. This is if the partylist advocates violence or unlawful means to achieve its goal.

  12. There are people among you who would like to believe that the communist movement is dead, a spent force or is no longer a threat to worry about in the Republic of the Philippines. We must remember a principle in warfare. Never underestimate the enemy. Adopting an attitude of complacency will lead to our undoing. I like to visit enemy websites to determine the intentions and disposition of the CPP-NPA-NDF. Pattern recognition and connecting the dots reveals their real state. Reality sucks!Take a peek at their websites and blogs. It is true that their websites/blogs are also sources of communications in agitation-propaganda. If everything is so peachy… Then why has the government not been able to completely defeat them in the countrysides? Why are their legal support fronts already operating within our cities, municipalities and barangays even as they are already within the highest corridors of power? Why do these legal support fronts keep on supporting the armed component with impunity? I have observed BS Aquino’s Akbayan along with communist ducks of the same feather Bayan Muna doing protest actions during the Corona Impeachment Trial. Is Socialist Partylist Akbayan beyond infiltration by the red communists? Why is BS Aquino always dealing from a position of weakness in even recognizing a repeat status of belligerency as the reds insist on Norway as a peace negotiation venue? Why not hold peace negotiations within Philippine territory? Why the secret talks with the reds abroad? The secret talks with the MILF/bangsamoro allies of the CPP-NPA-NDF are still secret. We all know about the formal alliance of the CPP-NPA-NDF with their Islamofascist counterparts in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front/bangsamoro terrorist and lawless elements alliance. I repeat, the legal support fronts number in the millions. They have been used before to support certain “traditional” politicians who achieved guaranteed election status in majority votes to public office. They can double as a formidable force of urban partisans and are considered as a clear and present danger in a worst case scenario red communist coup attempt. I will begin to believe you guys if and that is a big if…they are defeated as effectively as what was done to the Tamil Tigers.

    1. That post speaks of your IGNORANCE.

Do you think ang focus ng current president is the economy and the AFP modernization? No, sir. He’s more on blame games instead. Kung talagang hindi ka bobo, then where’s your source? Or maybe you got it all from the biased media?

At least former president Arroyo focuses on those things first and shunned her critics, especially on the point of berating her and such. Noynoy? Not so much.

    2. If you have some logical argument against the people here then by all means write it down. But if you are going to rant about how people view your BOPOL pwesident and go emo about it and even call everybody here bobo at the same time minumura mo pa ang mga tao dito, you are obviously just trolling and that you have a brain the size of a pea. Infected with HEPA.

    4. @Tangina manahimik kayong bobo

Fact: Ninoy Aquino networked with everyone including the reds. He had an informal, unwritten alliance with Jose Maria Sison. Ninoy was also not present during the Plaza Miranda Bombing planned and executed by Jose Maria Sison.

Fact: Cory Aquino served coffee to Jose Maria Sison in their Times Street residence. She later ordered the release of Jose Maria Sison.

Fact: Who ordered the release of the Morong 43? Who is playing and sleeping with the above ground communists known as the Socialist Akbayan Partylist? Is the Akbayan above red communist infiltration?

      http://www.josemariasison.org/?p=5114

      http://www.josemariasison.org/?p=3225

    5. @ Obvious Malacanang TROLL

      Fact: You are a MORON.
      Fact: Noynoy is incompetent.
Fact: The NPA will double cross Noynoy when they feel that he is no longer useful to them.
Fact: Allegations against GMA are not proven yet.
Fact: You obviously haven’t heard of the term “innocent until proven otherwise”

  14. The unholy alliance between the CPP-NPA-NDF(including their legal support fronts)and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in Mindanao continues. Strategic resources of oil, natural gas, minerals and ore is assumed to belong to the State. OUR resources belong to all of OUR People. Not to the MILF/bangsamoro and its red allies standing alone. Our Constitution and our natural resources are in danger of being raped by the enemies of the state. ALL the advantages are being given to them. Why are we surrendering our natural resources to the enemies of the State? Study and analyze. From the Manila Standard:

    http://www.manilastandardtoday.com/2012/11/01/govt-defers-to-milf/

    1. Simple and straight forward answer is because the elected government officials are allowing it.

I guess the appropriate question in this instance is, why are they allowing this?

And the side questions would be: Would they benefit from this? Is there a driving force behind this (such as superpowers)? Would this ensure that the status quo is maintained, which in turn is related to the above two questions?

  15. I also like to visit the luwaran.com enemy website of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front to determine their intentions and disposition. Should you visit the site, click the editorial bar in the upper left of the screen, scroll down and see the window statements on the lower right. I numbered it here for your analysis:

    1. Moro is a Nation

    2. No to Integration

    3. No to Unitary State

    4. Uphold Moro Right to Self-Determination

Does the foregoing statements mean they are for expanded autonomy? No! They are still for secession! The phony peace is still on! Even Satur Ocampo in his recent commentary in the Philippine Star said that the goal is self-determination. By the way, they still fly the sword and crescent green flag over their base camps and not the Philippine tri-color. I also saw the broad smiling faces of BS Aquino, his entourage and the MILF leadership in posted pictures of the then secret talks in Tokyo, Japan. Body language never lies. The broad, smiling faces on the pictures speak a thousand words. The CPP-NPA-NDF formal alliance with the MILF raises questions. The MILF leadership is apparently now the friends of BS Aquino. Does this make the communist ally of the MILF no longer an enemy but the friend of my friend? General Jovito Palparan carries a PHP2 Million reward on his head and is treated more like a terrorist. He is tagged as the butcher and the NPA are even hunting him. My point is, are there reward posters for the leadership of the NPA? Does George Madlos or his people operating in Mindanao carry a reward on their heads? Why is the government of BS Aquino making it appear that the deal with the MILF is only an expanded autonomy when secession is still the ultimate goal of the MILF? Are we now playing the game called double standards?

  16. I have constructed a short order of battle in relation to this compelling article.

    1. “Traditional” politicians in the Executive and Legislative branches who believe in political expediency, opportunism and donations to the enemies of the state.

    2. “Traditional” politicians in local government who believe in political expediency, opportunism and donations to the enemies of the state.

    3. Legal support fronts who donate Partylist funds to the armed component of the enemies of the state in furtherance of political expediency and opportunism.

    4. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front in giving aid, sanctuary, comfort and donations to its terrorist/lawless elements alliance.

    5. The CPP-NPA-NDF in its formal alliance with the MILF in aiding, abetting, augmenting and supporting its ally. They receive foreign aid from abroad. Along with their legal support fronts in Mindanao they continue to make war on the government and the people as allies of the MILF.

    6. The continuing interference of Malaysia, its Prime Minister, IMT, other foreign entities and foreign terrorist/criminal support elements in raping the sovereignty of the Republic of the Philippines.

As I said before, the worst is yet to come.

  17. Natural resources in Mindanao is a very vital issue. Will Mr. BS Aquino give way to the done deal lion’s share of 75% for the MILF? Will he allow our national government only a measly 25% of wealth sharing and natural resources exploitation? As I pointed out before, the majority people of Mindanao will get 0% or nothing at all. Mr. Murad is the man who would be king in Mindanao. Will he share wealth and natural resources with his allies in the CPP-NPA-NDF? Will he also share wealth and natural resources with the ASG, J.I. Al Qaeda in Asia, lawless elements, lost commands, splinter groups, MNLF, MILF fighters and civilian Pintakasi support groups that include women and child fighters? Is Mr. Murad authorized by our Constitution to allow Malaysia to buy our oil? BS Aquino should be aware that our strategic resources of natural gas, crude oil, minerals and ore should be exploited in favor of the sovereign filipino people. At this point in time they are still considered as armed and dangerous enemies of the state. To confer a lion’s share access of wealth sharing and natural resources exploitation to the enemies of the state is not only self defeating but high treason. Oil, natural gas, minerals and ore moves ruthless men to excessive greed because of the power it confers. He who controls oil, natural gas, minerals and ore will be the dominant political and economic force in Mindanao and beyond. Imagine an MILF/bangsamoro state empowered by crude oil, natural gas, minerals and ore. An independent state will be realized as they declare absolute independence and are recognized by other Islamic states. This potential super state can also morph into a rouge state. BS Aquino has been giving all the advantages to the MILF/bangsamoro. Will Mindanao oil, natural gas, mineral and ore wars be possible in the near future? Only time will tell. Mr. BS Aquino cannot afford to gamble with our national survival. The balkanization of Mindanao has already begun!

    1. I agree. Firm with an iron fist is what the country needs. Incompetencies are weaknesses, in danger of more chaotic governance.

  18. I would rather have a communist mindset in the Senate and the Congress than having “the same politician” whose purpose of running is to protect their businesses and businesses of their supporters and allies. These are the ones who brought chaos and more poverty to the poor like me. I am sorry but I would rather trust these commies than our Military based on my experience. These commies are more respectful to the people than the men in uniform. The State and Media, of course, are not exposing harassment and karahasan to the civilians to protect the name of military since they are duty bound to protect (suppose to be) the people. In you just know, there are more harassment made by men in uniform than the so called commies. SELF VESTED INTEREST in the key reason why our government officials (not all) are destroying the true meaning of communism because their self- vested interest will be shaken or destroyed or even erased in the history.

  19. Correct me if im wrong… Hacienda luisita was put up for sale by the spanish owners due to communist rebels in the area… And the cojuangcos wanted to own it given its problem? They have got to be in agreement with the communists before considering such purchase…

    1. ” According to Dante , the NPA never attacked the hacienda because
of the rebel army ’ s ties with Ninoy. In a personal interview , Rodolfo
Salas (aka Kumander Bilog ), CPP Chair from 1977 -1986 and NPA
Commander-Chief from 1976 -1986 ( he replaced both Sison and
Dante when they were jailed ) added , “ Ninoy protected us in there .
So we were able to organize the unions in Hacienda Luisita . The
wife of Art Garcia was a nurse . We made her work in the hospital
of Hacienda Luisita , and that ’ s how we organized the union. ”
      joma sison

  20. there are that many commies in malacanan now and as they get stronger the atrocities will get worst.
these people only know and want disruption – it feeds their ego, power base, and bank accounts.

  21. Parties in the Philippines should define their ideologies and platforms. Parties now have very personalized agendas. No ideological stand at all. At least these Bayan Muna types are very clear. Communism/Socialism. Mainstream parties are neither right nor left or even center.

Party list groups suspected or accused of collusion with the CPP NPA NDF must also denounce these groups publicly.

Barring that, they should be utterly banned with no chance for appeal. Send them back to the jungles.

    1. I am totally serious when I say this. The average voter has no clue about political philosophy. No idea about Adam Smith or Karl Marx or how anything else fits in. So every election you have all these prospective and incumbent politicians trying to out baduy each other. Anybody care to disagree with that flattering summation of how things are here?? PROUD TO BE PINOY!!!

  22. Do we wait for far-right politics to crush communism? Some parts of Europe have far-right or ultra right-wing politics to keep communists and Muslim extremists at bay.
